Shapeshifted Review

ARC
5 out of 5 Stars

Edie has never had a easy life. She has always put everyone else's needs above her own and risked her life to save those that don't appreciate her. Now after nearly being killed while saving the lives of so many, she is being shunned by the supernatural world and nearly everyone she considers her friends.
Lonely and in a bad place, she receives news from her mother that forces her back into her old life among the monsters and struggling once again to maneuver through their dangerous world.
This book is the turning point in Edie's life. She lost everything and instead of giving up she is finally trying to take control and growing into the strong, self- confident woman we know lurks within her. I loved reading about her interactions between her normal human job while the supernatural butts in.
And finally her romantic life which has never been easy or healthy seems to be going somewhere good. I have been rooting for them to get together and be happy with each other and not just another fling and I finally got my wish. Hopefully this one will stick.
With its mix of dark, emotional and sometimes humorous storyline's the Edie Spence novels are a must read.
